Freelance Media Producer, Director & Executive with more than 15 years experience in developing and making television sports news and feature documentaries.
Formerly the Executive Producer in charge of sport at Al Jazeera English (TV news channel & website), and the Programme Editor of the Sportsworld show on AJE, James also spent more than a decade as a TV Sports Producer and Reporter with broadcasters in the UK (Sky News, ITN, ITV News, Five News),
James has a wealth of experience working with and consulting for major corporate clients (Adidas, Red Bull), sports governing bodies (IOC, FIFA), and media production companies (Talkback, CanCommunicate, Pimlico).
As well as being asked to give presentations and lectures about Sports Journalism and broadcast production, James has also been asked to judge several awards, including the Emmy® Awards Sports Documentary category.
Now a freelance Producer, Director, and Consultant, James is currently involved in several projects developing strategies for tv, online and social networks as well as in news feature production and documentary filmmaking.
